Concept
Osaka Gas, a leading energy supplier in Japan founded in 1897, approached Tapie to design its DIY kitchen exhibition during "LIVING & DESIGN 2012".
At this time, there was a growing interest in DIY among Japanese younger generations. Tapie designed three kitchens, using different levels of DIY skills, intending to enhance the sense of attachment of the users to the space.
