Concept
Tapie presented this chair in JAPANTEX2013, an interior trade show since 1981, under the section "Take a Seat - Upcycling". The original chair is "EL1953" by Arflex Japan which we have been using for many years in our Tokyo office. It feels natural to maintain a good old piece of furniture and continue using it for a long time. Therefore, we want to make "furniture" and "tools" worthy of maintenance and continuous usage.
